Peter Crouch today completed his £7million move to Anfield.

The move follows weeks of speculation that he was set for a transfer to the European Champions, and after Liverpool and Southampton agreed a feww last night, Crouch completed his medical today before putting pen to paper on a four year deal.

The 6'7" striker scored 16 goals for Southampton last year and his move to Liverpool completes an amazing couple of years for the forward, who was on loan at Norwich less than two years ago, due to being unable to break into the Aston Villa side.

A £2million move to Southampton last summer saw Crouch handed a new challenge, and despite a slow start, he responded by firing in 16 goals in just 24 starts, including goals against Liverpool and Arsenal.

Crouch's arrival could signal the end of Milan Baros' Anfield career, with speculation mounting that he is set to leave the club after four years.
