El Hadji Diouf and Salif Diao will both miss this afternoon's FA Cup fifth round match against Portsmouth. The pair returned late from African Nations action with Senegal, and will be dropped as part of their punishment from manager Gerard Houllier, who otherwise has almost a full strength squad to choose from.
