Harry Kewell is rested from the Liverpool starting line up for the first time since his summer transfer for Liverpool's Carling Cup 3rd round clash at Blackburn tonight.

Liverpool: Kirkland, Biscan, Traore, Hyypia, Henchoz, Diouf, Gerrard, Murphy, Le Tallec, Sinama-Pongolle, Heskey.
