24.07.2003 - Liverpool team to play Thailand

Anthony Le Tallec starts his first game for Liverpool, as the Reds play the third friendly game of the summer against the Thailand national team in Bangkok.

Gerard Houllier looks set to again use a large portion of his squad, with the likes of Hyypia, Gerrard, Dudek, Murphy and BAros all starting on the bench.

Neither Harry Kewell and Steve Finnan travelled with the squad, as they aim to recover from injury and surgery respectively, while Markus Babbel and Florent Sinama Pongolle also collected minor injuries at the weekend and may not take part in today's match.

The Liverpool starting line up is as follows:

Kirkland, Carragher, Henchoz, Traore, Vignal, Hamann, Diouf, Cheyrou, Le Tallec, Owen, Heskey.
