01.07.2003 - Kewell to decide future this week
Harry Kewell will this week finally decide on where his future lies according to the agent of the Leeds United star.
With Blackburn unlikely to lower their £17million valuation of Damien Duff, a player who Houllier has been trying to sign for over a year, Kewell is said to be Houllier's first choice alternative to the Irishman as the Reds' boss looks to add more creativity to the Liverpool side in time for the start of next season.
Arsenal have also been strongly linked with The Australian international, with Barcelona among the foreign clubs who have shown an interest, but it's Liverpool who have emereged as favourites to capture Kewell's signature.
Kewell currently has one year left on his contract at Elland Road, but his reluctance to sign a new deal have left his future at the club in doubt and it seems certain that he'll quit Leeds this year, with the fee set to be in the region of £6-7million.
