Salif Diao could be given a surprise start in this afternoon's crucial game which will decide fourth place in the Premiership and the final Champions League place. The Senegal midfielder is currently on standby for Dietmar Hamann, who is battling against a shin injury in order to be fit for the game.

Vladimir Smicer is definitely out though, with the Czech international sidelined due to a calf injury.
