Neil Mellor is back in the Liverpool reserve side for tonight's final of match of the season against Everton. Mellor was forced out of last week's home derby with an ankle injury, as Liverpool lost 3-1 at Chester. But the top scorer in the reserve league will lead the Reds' attack tonight as Liverpool look to finish the season with a win.

Jon Otsemobeor is back in the side after recently returning from a loan spell with Hull, though there's in the team for Patrick Berger which means that his appearance in last week's derby defeat will almost certainly be his last in a Liverpool shirt.

Everton reserves: Gerrard, O'Hanlon, B Moogan, Clarke, Pilkington, Linderoth, , Schumacher, Osman, Chadwick, Garside, A Moogan.

Liverpool reserves: Luzi, Vaughan, Wright, Foley-Sheridan, Otsemobor, Babbel, Wilkie, Welsh, Mellor, Gillespie, Butler.

The match takes place at the Halton Stadium in Widnes, the home of rugby league's Super League side, Widnes Vikings.
