05.03.2003 - Henchoz out for up to 6 weeks

Stephane Henchoz could be facing a 6 week spell on the sidelines after it was confirmed today that he'll require an operation on his left calf.

The news is likely to mean a recall to the side for Djimi Traore, who impressed at centre back during the early weeks of the season, when Henchoz was missing through injury.

Emile Heskey could also be out for two weeks after picking up a hamstring strain dueing Sunday's Worthington Cup win. Heskey was substituted early in the second half of Liverpool's 2-0 win, and now looks set to miss the Reds' next two league games, as well as both legs of the UEFA Cup quarter final against Celtic.
