Liverpool have completed the signing of French goalkeeper, Patrice Luzi.

Luzi, who will be 22 next week, has joined on a free transfer from Monaco and will start the season as Liverpool's fourth choice keeper, following the departure of Jorgen Nielsen.

Gerard Houllier has now seen five players complete a move to Liverpool this summer, with Salif Diao set to complete his move to the Reds in mid-December but Houllier insists that he's still looking to make improvements to the team before the start of the season.

Damien Duff, Brett Emerton and Khalilou Fadiga have all recently been linked with a move to Anfield.
