El Hadji Diouf finally completed his transfer to Liverpool today, after signing a five year contract with the club.

Diouf had been given an extended break, following Senegal's impressive World Cup display, but he has now joined up with his new team mates and has started pre-season training.

The striker is the third player to officially sign for Liverpool, with Salif Diao expected to complete his move in the coming days, and Lee Bowyer also set to join in a £9million deal once he has completed contract negotiations with the club.
