10.06.2002 - Dudek's World Cup ends as Poland crash out
Portugal ran out easy winners as they cruised to a 4-0 win over Poland, sending the Poles out of the World Cup after only their second game.
Pauleta put Portugal ahead after 14 minutes, and went on the score another two in the second half, before Rui Costa completed the scoring with two minutes to go.
Jerzy Dudek didnt have the best of games, but he did help keep the score down with a number of saves, and also did well to make things difficult for Rui Costa, when he was faced with two one-on-ones late in the game.
But Poland were emphatically beaten for the second game in a row, and will have little more than pride to play for when they take on the United States in their final match of the 2002 World Cup.
