21.12.2001 - Baros wins work permit appeal

Milan Baros was granted a work permit earlier today and can now complete his transfer to Liverpool. The 19 year old Czech striker is considered as one of the hottest prospects in European football and has already made an impact on the International stage, having earned a regular place in the line up for the Czech national side over the past year and notching up an impressive goal tally as well.

Phil Thompson has hinted that Baros could play some part in the upcoming Christmas/New Year schedule of matches, and he could be in contention to make his debut on Boxing Day against Aston Villa.
