Fulham 1-2 Liverpool
Danny Murphy's last minute penalty earned Liverpool all 3 points at Loftus Road on Sunday.
The Reds started strongly in a highly entertaining and very open match which was played at an incredibly fast pace, and were ahead thanks to a fine volley by Emile Heskey, who got a foot in front of his marker to fire in from Steve Finnan's cross.
Fulham had many chances of their own, and were level before half time through Louis Saha. The striker was left unmarked an in acres of space at the far post and had plenty of time to put a shot past Dudek after some poor defending by Liverpool during the Fulham build up.
But with two minutes remaining, Zak Knight tripped Sinama-Pongolle in the area, and Murphy kept his cool to slot home the winner.
Luis Boa Morte was sent off in injury time for a reckless lunge on Sinama-Pongolle, but the youngster fortunately was not hurt and the challenge was not going to spoil Liverpool's afternoon.
The next Premiership match for Gerard Houllier's men is at home to Man United next Sunday.
